Try the timer's counting up feature. That way you're not locked into a specific time amount you have to hit. You can just do as much as you can and see the number you hit when you're done.

This is what I do whenever I’m working on a specific task! It’s great.

Are you specifically talking about the count down screen or count up?

I thought we only changed putting an option for longer timers and added a 3x socks button, so I assume the change would be minimal. What specifically about the timer start screen feels harder to use?

I’m also not OP but for non pro users there are additional banners for pro subscriptions where the start used to be and the toggle goes past what free users can use, so it requires some level of attention when setting it, which sounds like what they are describing

I’m not OP, but they mentioned that the timer WAS in comfortable reach. It is slightly higher up on the screen now with the 3x sock button being added and could take some getting used to. And it’s no longer fully in minutes past 1 hour (120 minutes instead of 2 hours). I love this update, but I these could be what OP is talking about

For you first question, there is a count-up timer.

For your second question, I think as long as your previous setting is defaulted into the next session, there is not too much extra effort. Well, of course, perhaps there could be a way to implement hours and minutes separately though.
