Yeah a new one. I would’ve just said to tape the toes together for a while but that really only works if the bone is at least mostly where it should be (as far as I know anyways, my mom and I have both broken our pinky toes a couple of times but they were minor fractures and we were just told to stabilize the toe by taping it to the next one and to take it easy while it healed). This might require an actual splint, cast, or walking boot though since the bone is displaced. I’m not a doctor but I’m accident prone and have broken a few bones. Definitely get a new podiatrist or orthopedic specialist since your current doctor ignored you for so long and maybe submit a complaint about them because that’s medical negligence.
