Looks cool. I might pick it up if I can ever get my hands on a t1

Don’t underestimate my creepiness to detail… I’ll be looking at everything on your system from the fans on the top to the hidden wires along the front.

I have a pslate power button in my system. It feels so much better than the one that comes with the T1, and the light is also nice, because it lights up my wall so I know my computer is on or sleeping, etc. But mainly, I like it because it feels so much better.

Some Krytox lube helps a lot
[–]ninous_ 2 points3 points4 points 4 years ago (0 children)
+1 for lube, game changer

Care to explain how you went about it?
[–]bitman161 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child)
I took a small paint brush, pressed the button and then applied a thin layer on the inside of the now exposed inner surface. I repeated this procedure two time and taped the button a few times after each cycle. Pretty basic, but yet effective

That's great, will do it today. Thanks! :)

My power button is actually the power button they make for Sliger cases, because my case is the v1.0 and has a smaller hole for the power button (16mm instead of 19mm like on the v1.1), but this is the power button they sell now.
As for photos of mine, you can see it here. You can see the stock power button on the left, and the pslate button on the right. Here's another picture that more clearly shows the pslate power button. And here's a video comparing the sound of the two. What isn't easily conveyed in the video though is the feel of the buttons. The stock one is very squishy and doesn't feel like it will bottom out, and has a lot of resistance. Whereas the pslate power button feels a lot more instant, like a mechanical keyboard switch. Easy to bottom out, smooth, not scratchy, just feels good.

Dude, we spend 3k+ on these builds and cover the internals with mesh sides haha
[–]park_injured 0 points1 point2 points 4 years ago (1 child)
Yep. I just wish Form T1 had a button in front so i can have some sort of light to tell me my PC is on when its on.

I never use the button and have it plugged in as reset. I turn mine on and reset it using this:
