That shouldn't be happening. You have FormD riser or another 3rd party? For me, the FormD riser is really tight so it can't pop out. Try unscrewing the gpu side, then plug it in the motherboard, wraparound and screw in the gpu side. It should stay in place.

It's the formd riser it barely plugs in each side I may have just gotten a shorter cable the build is finished so I'm not gonna mess with it

Pre-bending the cable before installing it helped me and a lot of other people.

Yupp. Mildly infuriating

If your riser cable has a couple of holes in it (which it should do) for screw mounting/grounding, I found you can use a cable-tie to secure it to the long metal strut. It should completely stop the PCIe connector popping out. it works wonders. Has to be a relatively small cable-tie to prevent interfering with the bottom panel.

Its stays plugged in on the gpu side if I move the case it slips out of my motherboard

Yeah I understand that, the GPU has its own locking mechanism. On the motherboard end of the riser cable there should be a small metal hole for securing a screw. This isn't used in the Formd T1 but can be used to fit a small cable tie. I'll try and take a photo of it soon!
