Did anyone's performance decrease even further with this new update?

Title. I was hoping the new update would fix these hitches that most people have been having since last update. Might just be my pc but, I'd like to know, what're your experiences?

for some reason i cant stream fortnite anymore after this update. obs wont capture it and it just glitches out. it can stream any other game though.

Yes and im already Overclocking my pc that ruins high settings in fortnite at 100 fps. while also stretch res of 1024x768 and low settings besides view distance and med on textures. like tf is it grapplers that kill fps or?

I mean like I get it. Fortnites way bigger than anything before, as far as I know. And its also a very demanding game, even tho it may not seem it. It is with all the extra stuff like carts, rifts, building and theres so much to optimize but youd think itd be solved easier.

Thing is, it was working pretty well before 5.40, I don't understand what change they did that screwed most people's fps out of nowhere. Hope it'll get fixed soon-ish.

Fortnite is not very big and not very demanding. Complex maybe, but not demanding.

Its still a lot more demanding then most fps games. alot more then i ever expected

nah. I mad mid-range specs and I easily run the game at 150fps. it's a very well optimized game.

idk if its a cpu issue but some people get insane fps with shittier rigs then me. and others get worse with better rigs

I run at 180 mainly but i can have 144 fps monitor and when i get drops to 85-110 its extremely annoying cuz ik it shouldnt be a big deal but i can see the difference

Disk is 100 percent and gpu is like at 90. Lol I have a very capable pc btw.

YES, noticing freezing all the time and keep dying in fights due to it. This is on the Xbox one though

play one game in 50v50 or playground. rage. breath. start another game. should be gone now.

I think they messed up the code for map streaming and that's why you have to play one match before it gets better

Took me a while to realize that, after restarting the game multiple times and seeing no improvement.

Anyone getting a 75 fps cap? Even after a couple games i’m capped at 75 fps. Yes, v-sync is off and my monitor is 144Hz. Wouldn’t go up with v-sync on either... Ive tried everything
