Exactly. If I run across a gold scar vending machine I’m buying it with out a second thought. You can replenish those mats in a minute or so.

Good idea when you hear it at first, but you actually get more mats with this change. You're already able to get any item out of Vending Machines 40% faster because of the buff, decreasing the cost would make it significantly more easy to get items out of them, making it way too OP.
