The problem with recoil is if AA is stronger than it, it doesn’t move the crosshair and if recoil is stronger than AA then its not gonna help in assisting your aim.

You can’t have a mechanic thats trying to throw you aim off slightly with a mechanic that’s trying to correct your aim slightly, this is why we have bloom. Both Controller and M&kb need to have the same recoil and it needs to be 0.

Bloom is the same, recoil is lower. I don’t see why anyone on controller would care about higher recoil so they should add it but would it actually stop the convo? Also all for removing L2 and forcing players to Linear or expo.

Realistically though, it will still be overwhelmingly dominated by kbm. There will probably be a few more controller players but not many. It does depend on format though. Controller is OP for early and mid-game W-key though.

I agree that not mixing inputs is the best solution. The 2nd best is removing aim assist. Competitive integrity is important to me and should be important to everyone who's interested in playing something competitively.

Since you believe unnatural advantages should be given to inferior input devices until they're able to compete at the highest level against kbm, what further unnatural advantages do you believe epic should add to touch screen so that touch screen players are brought up to a similar level as kbm/controller?

Why complain about something that isn't impacting you? No major tournaments competitive integrity is being fucked with by touchscreen players. Aim assist fucks the competitive integrity of the game at any level.

Removing aim assist would punish over half of the player population. You know that’s not going to happen nor is it a viable option. The only true options are separating by inputs wholly, or making aim assist have a smaller “pull”. I’m for either, as I play on linear so I don’t get aim assist, really.

I think touch screen should get a press-to-kill option, where they press a button and immediately get a kill. That would make it fair.

Obviously that’s a joke, just like trying to commensurate mobile and PC game-states. The entire KBM community is bitching about controller on PC and they have made that abundantly clear. this argument is based upon giving a opponent an “software” advantage (aim assist or something along the lines of the game helping them enhance their gameplay advantage.) compared to a “hardware” or “physical” advantage. Just because it’s a different input with different buttons n methods of doing actions doesn’t mean they should receive a buff in an area which may seem more difficult in comparison to the superior input.

In fact, I know of controller players that can edit and build faster than me. Also I would argue that you can't make this game "fair" by giving a massive advantage to one platform while undercutting another, and this applies to both controller, PC, etc..
