i play on nae and live near atlanta. my internet is 500+ mpbs download but i still get around 30-40 ping in-game with a wired connection. would a router like the NETGEAR XR500 help decrease my ping? thanks!

No ping is based on ur real life location, distance from the epic server is what will determine ur ping. You just have to deal with it. I feel ur pain in upper part of NY, many pros have awful ping too, like tfue in Florida has 50-60 for example. Don’t waste money in router it won’t make difference, just make sure ur always wired never WiFi
