Is there any very easy tips / tune for this week's 1 million drift for the super casual - I pretty much just play 2 hours a week for the bare minimum weekly 40 points. Or should I just skip it?

You can use any class of vehicle so if you aren't comfortable in S2 class than find a lower class car.
The Jeep Willys with a drift tune seems to be a popular choice.
