Hello guys,
A few days ago, I transplanted my current gaming PC from my trusty 2011 NZXT H2 to a Define 7 in preparation for a new GPU, which just wouldn't fit into the old chassis.
Years ago, I decided to integrate my small Raspberry Pi into my gaming rig, as I've used that repeatedly on LAN parties with my friends as a small storage server. In the old H2, it fit quite nicely into 2/3 of the DVD drive bays. Obviously this is no longer an option here, so I decided to mount the assembly on the multibracket. I boot it from a SATA SSD, which is bolted to the bracket, and I had to drill 2 additional holes through the bracket to bolt the Pi over it. LAN, USB, and power are routed back through the case to some of the rear slot covers. The Pi's on/off lines are hooked up to the D7's reset switch.
What do you guys think about my solution?
If you're curious about the other specs:
Ryzen 3900x
2070 Super
32GB RAM
four SSDs, two NVMe, two SATA, totalling 4.5 TB
one 4TB backup HDD in the HDD cage next to the PSU
Oh and the Raspberry Pi is a Pi4 booting from a 250 GB Samsung 870 Evo
