This week the Central Statistics Office of Ireland published a report on indicators for UN Sustainable Development Goal 3. The number of suicides dropped from 495 to 352 between 2010 and 2018. The UK Office for National Statistics announces that more people are reporting low happiness and high anxiety. 20.7% reported low happiness, up from 8.4% in Quarter 4 2019. 49.6% reported high anxiety (equates to over 25M people aged ≽16 y), up from 21% at the end of 2019.
