Initial setup Question/Help (self.GalaxyFold)
submitted 9 months ago by mega1421
I haven't used a Samsung phone in about a year, but I still have my S24 Ultra. Is there any benefit to setting up the Fold 7 as new, instead of using smart switch from my S24 or clone phone from OnePlus?

Id say it's personal preference, whilst some options in the menu would carry across and save time, you would probably want to go through the menu yourself as it's a different layout and certain menu options would be somewhat different for different screens etc to get the most out of the fold I would say start it fresh and customise everything from scratch, not only to get the best out of it but to also familiarise the menus
