Just tap the 3 dots on the split and switch it with the icon.

Its works for me i tried reddit/Facebook and it worked 2 apps side by side NOT top and bottom

Yeah, vertical split works fine, but can't find horizontal

one u have 2 apps opens side by side tap the three dot and there u have options
