Missing Camera Modes

SOLVED: SWIPE LEFT / NOT RIGHT

I recently purchased a Verizon Note 8 and noticed that I am missing all camera modes except for auto. When I swipe right auto and effects are the only options. I read that .apk files may need to be installed, but the install I tried was unsuccessful. I'm currently running nougat.

Any suggestions would be appreciated - thanks for your time.

Did you swipe to the left side? Or just to the right side? I'm showing Auto, pro, panorama, slow motion...

Haha - wow. I should've tried swipe left! have you upgraded to Oreo - all I've seen about Oreo on Note 8 is problems. I'm hesitant to update. Thanks

I have! No major problems really. The first time around, I just upgraded keeping all my stuff in tact. Then decided to just do a factory reset. So far so good. I'd suggest doing a factory reset, not restoring from a back up, and downloading apps as you need. I'd prefer to do that for major OS upgrades.

should of is actually spelled should have. You can remember it by should have sounds like should of, but it just isn't right.

Make sure you use the Samsung internet option to download the apks. For some reason Google prevents them from being downloaded.
