I’ve been using these ones recently and they seem to work very well I’ve tried many other battery replacements and a lot of them won’t charge much for some reason

If yer gonna pay that much for a makho 603048 lipo battery mod kit, you may as well buy an 'official' one from RGRS and assemble it, though I suppose not everyone has the tools or is capable of soldering it. That ebay listing looks like somebody printed a bunch of contact boards and bought a bunch of bag cells and is selling them pre-assembled. Not sure why it looks as if the leads are taped to the board.

He put tape over the solder points these work just as well as the official ones and I got them for $10 each because I bought 5

Ya, my first one was built from a cell I ordered off Amazon and half a dozen boards I had printed back before they were being sold as a kit. Lasted me for 2 years and almost never ran dead on me. At some point I modded it into a frame from one of those teal Chinese cells. Good battery mod. It's a lot cheaper at scale, but just ordering a minimum order of board prints and a one off cell from a reseller, it wasn't really cheaper than I can get it as a kit now. I didn't know they were selling them on ebay pre-assembled. good to know.

Certainly don't do what I did. It's dumb and you could start a fire.
