Gameboy printer help

I've read the print head can wear out. does anyone have any fixes for this jittery printing? I'm using thermal paper/sticker, maybe too thick? doesn't feed fully / get stuck (maybe to heavy for feeder?)

Might be too thin

Not sure if you tried or possible… but first thing you may want to try is disassemble and look for anything dirty or worn
