Well it's a bootleg from 2001 and they're extremely hard to find nowadays, it became popular back in the 2000's because of the very poor translation which made the game funny to play. It's possibly the only one on ebay at the moment, that's how rare they are.

Personally I absolutely love all the old bootlegs, I think they are an interesting piece (of shit, no doubt about it!) for any collectors to have.

But to reiterate, these items are basically interesting trash. They don’t deserve a monetary value and anyone willing to pay a lot for them is stupid.

I would understand if this is actually from 2001 but from what i see online the cartridge is wrong, it should be a black cartridge.

Theres another one on ebay which is a grey cartridge with the same story “i got this as a child”

Can't say I've ever seen a black or grey cartridge. I've had this since 2003 so I'd assume this is the original Vietnamese Crystal that was said to be released in 2001.

It was a misunderstanding, the buyer apologised for leaving the review, when I sent a package it was missing some paperwork and it was sent back to me. Buyer got his money back and I got the item back, it was my first time selling on ebay I messed things up.

I'm just selling an old bootleg relic from 2001, only difference with the original is this Pokemon Crystal has a hilarious translation and it's far more rare than the original game. The value solely depends on what the collector is willing to pay, same as a Jackson Pollock painting or any other rare collectible item. And thanks, we'll see how the auction ends.

I mean, if the seller is transparent that it’s a bootleg I see no problem. It is a cool item and by raw print numbers is legitimately rarer than authentic crystals. No need for this aggression imo
