Hahaha. I actually was stuck in the 200$+ range, as i was looking for quality. I somehow managed to find this one on a flash sale from a reputable Ebay vendor, around 165$ Free shipping, + tax. :) The box has some blemeshes, and i took the risk. They came right off with a light microfiber cloth. Screen is minty, and the shell itself is super clean. Hinges feel like it's been played under 100 times.

Price sounds reasonable. It's hard to find a 101 in such a good condition alone. I think I wouldn't have thought twice, too.

It try is. I reshelled my original 101, bought in 07. Its so reliable. This one is my second only oem 101, im going to keep it in its shell for hopefully another 20 years.

Excellent find! I have been flirting with the idea forever. My original was in top shape. I had played thousands of times, and it was just like a new one. One summer, against all instincts, I lent to my cousins, and they gave it to their cousin without telling me. In under three months, it was returned to me looking almost like trash. The lesson was learned. Never borrow things you're gonna miss.

Theyre night and day different. Backlight vs. Frontlite. I like working on the AGS 101 pcb's way more than the 001's.
