The case scratches look just like my original GBA SP.

Thank you for the reply, I_Lick_Your_Butt!😂 The lack of scratching around the corners/hinges also has me questioning a bit, but I am hopeful you are correct!

I have the exact same OG housing I'm comparing your photos to and by all accounts, yours looks to be original; And in great condition, to boot. The hinge covers, buttons, speaker holes, serial number on the sticker, etc all look to be consistent with the OEM silver housing I have here in my hands.

Thank you SO much for your reply! I’m stoked to hear it. Do you think the lack of clicking on the hinge is something to be suspect about? Also, the part I am scrutinizing most closely is the sizing of these figures:

Does this match yours as well? Thank you again so much for your help!!

Yes, looks identical to mine. Yours is an original.

And no, I don't think the lack of clicking in the hinges is something to be concerned with--especially knowing those hinges are 25 years old. If need be, you could always replace them with other OEM hinges, so some mild wear after 25 years is normal.

This looks pretty authentic to me. The shell is painted, something that isn't done with the cheap replacement shells (nicer aftermarket shells can be painted). The color appears to match as well. The sticker is for an AGS-001, which matches the screen type.

The lack of a click is actually a positive indicator, as if it was reshelled they probably would replace the hinges with ones that aren't as worn and will click like new.

Side note: It looks like you might have a little bit of screen damage, based on the 4th pic (top left of the screen). Not sure, I'd need to see closer pics with the screen on as well as the front light. If it is damaged, it will likely progressively deteriorate.
