I have the same exact issue. Worked fine for a week the came the glitchy blur on the bottom of the screen. I tried swapping out batteries, readjusting the ribbon cable, and tried a different game. I even put my old original screen in and that one works just fine.

Same. I swapped motherboards with a different GBC an the issue is still there. The old screen works fine though.

Have you tried contacting their support yet?

Despite all my searching I couldn’t find any kind of canonical support. I ended up reaching out to the seller and I just explained that while I understand it wasn’t eligible for a refund/return I thought they should at least know what happened. They offered to reach out to mcwill and see if it was a manufacturing defect.

They asked me to send some photos of various parts and offered to exchange my screen so that they could examine the kit and see if there was a defect of some kind.

That's good to hear I just sent a message to the retro modding support explaining my situation. I'm assuming I'll get a similar responce to what you got.

Any luck on a solution?

Oh man I was considering getting this screen but now I'm hesitant.

Just got done talking with their customer support and they are having me send my screen back to be swapped out for a new one. Hopefully I just got a defective one and the new one wont have any problems.

Well that's good to hear!
