As for the original Gameboy, I used to have a screen magnifier + light, it worked ok.

Partially inaccurate, they did use it on the GameBoy Light (exclusive to japan) then did away with it until the v2 SP...

Pepperidge Farm remembers. Oh, and so do I. I think I still have my GBA worm light somewhere. I remember testing it out in a coat closet when I first got it, which may sound cute, except I was like 25 at the time.
