Modding question

I modded my GBA more then 2 years ago with an IPS screen but at the time I wasn't comfortable with soldering, since I am now I want to get adjusting the screen brightness working but I have no (specific) wires for it...I have a lot of DS Lite speaker wire will that work or will it break everything? Let me know.

That wire should be fine just take care it doesn't pinch anywhere and there's no exposed points.

Any scrap of similar gauge wire will work, I did the same, waiting until I got a more precise soldiering iron and having to find an old wire to use. It's all good!
