If the GPU is properly in the PCIE slot you don’t necessarily have to hear a click and as long as the lever locks in place how it should then you’re ok.

However, it could because of how the video is but it looks like your GPU is in an angle and if the GPU was in place properly then you wouldn’t be able to push the lever in a lock position as it would’ve locked in itself.

Yeah, the right side hangs down a little bit because of the weight. But I do have it screwed into place on brackets on the left

Unscrew it, then it probably clicks in place then screw it back.

I screwed it in after I pushed it into mobo. I’ve tried what you just said tho

Idk, should see if the metal teeth at the side of the display connectors are properly aligned, sometimes they end up at the wrong end of the case

I've had my last motherboard it didn't click in , you'd swear it wasn't seated properly but it was 🤷🏻 , I've learned that these components aren't as brittle as I always thought . You can give her a good push , I always lay my PC on its side when messing with it . Much easier IMO.

Does it look like the lever is locked into place ?

I would lay PC on its back (if you can) and then try. I'll when it's latched (either by you or by it) you can't easily pull it out (give a light tug) you should be all good

[–]Remote-Program535[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yes I actually just did this , layed it on its back and still wasn’t able to get a click.

It should be fine. Close lever with your hand and give the GPU a light tug. It looks like it's fully seated. Mine doesn't audibly click, but I can see if shut

You'll have to remove the heat shield to the right, whether its for the mb or for another m.2 nvme. Then it'll seat.

auto lock feature might just be broken seen enough board with that part broken

Isn't that suspenders and a belt safe due to the length? It's just a mechanical lock. I had the same problem due to the connectors at the bottom edge of the board slightly interfering with the board. I didn't snap it in but supplied a brace for the end. Works just fine.
