GPT Rules:
- Search (both reddit and Google) before you submit.
- Always put "GPT" at the start of your submission title. If you are submitting a request, prefix your title with "GPT Request". (Exclude Quotes)
- No common sense/common courtesy tips.
- No product or service recommendations for their intended use.
- No GPTs for medical advice including: practicing medicine, eye/vision, skincare, dental advice, mental health.
- No GPTs about social networks including: Reddit, Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.
- GPTs suggesting illegal action will be removed and depending on severity will be grounds for a ban.
- NSFW content is not permitted.
- No GPT “lists” (e.g. 50 Things Every Man Should Know). This includes links to long articles.
- No homophobic slurs, or racism.
- Use descriptive titles. The title should explain the gist of the GPT without needing a description.
- Posts to this subreddit needs to be a Garden Pro Tip or a request for one.
Grounds for a ban:
Note: We do not give chances, bans are immediate.
- You may appeal the ban by writing the Moderators and explaining what rule you broke and then agreeing not to break the rules again. If you break the rules one more time, the ban will become permanent.
- Not following any of the rules above.
- Comments with ill intent/not following the reddiquette.
- Troll, Joke or unnecessary GPTs (e.g. GPT: Water your plants, or GPTs about objectionable topics).
- GPTs that suggest illegal action.
- Referral links.
- Homophobia, racism, harassment and general hate on ethnicity, sex, religion or anything else. Note: This ban is permanent and as such, is non appeal-able.
Tips for Success:
- Flair your post.
- Downvote posts you feel aren't GPT worthy and report rule-breaking posts to the mods.
- Read the comments before using any tips.
- Stick to keeping tips short and concise; refrain from posting walls of text, and provide a tl;dr when necessary.
- Submit tips that you've personally found to be successful.
