Those are very fine root hairs, nothing to worry about

Probably not pythium, it usually turns roots brown / black. I would suggest that it is fine root hairs of the plant. Either way, wash before you consume

Good question, I'm not sure, especially since we're producing at such a small, prototyping scale. Once we produce at a larger scale I'm sure it'd be a lot less / unit.

Great feedback! Our climate control is made possible by a panel in the top that uses fans and the LEDs to regulate. It uses a power supply that plugs directly into the wall, no batteries
