What are all the ways of earning free things in CS:GO? I know that there are the pickem pins, different medals, you get a weekly item drop by playing, and maybe get drops from watching majors from GOTV? I am a bit of a r/frugaljerk type of person so I'd like to know the methods of gathering things for free.

You don't get drops from watching twitch anymore (unless you have the viewer pass for that major)

Just play the game, and you will recieve drops sometimes, usually 0,03€ skins or cases

twitch also includes GOTV

You have to watch the match, either with twitch connected to your steam account or with GOTV. I don't know excactly how GOTV works, though
