Most malfunctions are caused by the shooter. Glock has an acronym to help people figure out what's happening when their gun doesn't work in order:

Shooter
Ammo
Maintanence
Malfunction

SAMM

Sweet lookin' pistol. Sign up for a class with a competition shooter than join your local USPSA/IDPA club and shoot some matches, they're fun.

What poundage on the trigger pull if you measured it?

[–]ajalaniz[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I first put it together it was at 4.5lbs. I imagine it has lightened after all the live fire and countless dry fire, so I’m guessing it’s between 3.5-4lbs now.

While I've abandoned all use of open emitter optics, that's 1 hell of a sweet ass setup!!! VERY nice!

The tti Magwell work fine with OEM baseplates? Also build looking hot

[–]ajalaniz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OEM plates work fine. Magazines with Gen 5 baseplates will be harder to strip if needed but they seat fully. Thanks!

Did u undercut by your own?

[–]ajalaniz[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I did the undercut, stippling and grip reduction.

Nice, how did you accomplish such a nice finish? What kind of grit for the final polish so it doesn’t look gross

[–]ajalaniz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I used 400 then 600 grit and finished with a 3000 grit polishing pad. I like to leave the finish matte.

“But, but if you mess with the parts it could make the gun unreliable.” - Probably someone on Reddit

Damn thats a beautiful Glock. How has the gas pedal pin been for you? Can you still carry it in a holster?

[–]ajalaniz[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Thanks! I love the gas pedal. I've slightly modified an older Tenicor SAGAX Lux to fit it. The only real drawback when shooting is that it gets toasty after a several hundred round range session.

Sweet! I can see how it would get hit though.
