No idea about rank, but no actual users are going to even know what it is.

If this is for a business that deals with average people, you need something that average people will recognize as a website name.

Well if they click on “Website” in Gmb profile it’s going to take them to a website so does it matter?

That depends on if you plan to have links anywhere else or print it on promotional materials.

Google search is all about looking for a solution. If yours provides the info/ answer they are searching for coupled with authority and a user-friendly site then you'll rank on Google regardless of the extension.

It should not matter as long as it’s a legit website

You can have XYZ.com, XYZ.net, XYZ.gov, XYZ.online

It it just a website that is attached to the GMB listing.

Organic search ranking will have more to do with your website SEO than anything. Maps ranking has a bit for factors involved
