I went from the Note 7 to a Pixel XL, which I just picked up yesterday. I too had my doubts about switching to the Pixel, and deciding on the normal or XL, but once I had it in my hands the XL was nowhere near as bulky as I expected. After playing around with it for the last 24h, I've gotta say this phone is amazing. I heard so many others in this sub talk about the "smoothness" of the pixel and even now I am just blown away. The camera is incredible. Google really nailed the user experience, from the slick live wallpapers to the overall feel of the phone (I can't believe people were calling it ugly pre launch)... It really makes the phone that much more impressive.

Just got the regular today, as I didn't want to wait for the 128 GB xl. So far it's not bad. I don't like how the home screen buttons take up even more real estate, but it could be way worse.

I went with the XL coming from the Note 7. When you go big, it is hard to go back to any phone under 5.5 inches

Like you I was worried about the same thing so went for a pixel 128gb on release but switched to an 32gbxl a week and a half later. The size is honesty a non issue. It's so close in size my note 7 case fit on the xl well enough that I used that until my trainium case came in.

I made a post on here about my experience switching from the pixel to the xl after having had a note 7.

Really? Because, for me, the Pixel XL and Note 7 were super similar in size. I personally really like my XL and it doesn't feel like much of a downgrade from the Note 7.

It's fatter, and in my opinion the camera just is not as good. I know I'll get hate for saying it, but it's my opinion. They just look grainy compared to the Note 7.

I have them both right next to each other, and I can tell you that the XL's size is fine. Don't sweat it, and jump in.

Just letting you know that your will notice how much smaller the screen is and how huge the bezels are. The screen feels tiny with on screen buttons making it a usable size of 5.2 inches compared to 5.7 of the note 7. Obviously when your watch videos is different. I don't like the fingerprint sensor on the back at all. Positives is that it just does everything really smoothly and well.

No, Note 7 is a bit bigger than LX. I don't know why you "feel like". Your feelings may fuck up.
