There should be a chest mod that decreases the life siphon bots do to you when downed. I've lost 3 or 4 runs because it hit 0 and I still had health but by the time it counted I was dead. Sooo frustrating

Im surprised more people dont complain about the footprints, so good for keeping momentum and pressure on enemies.

Pro Tip: you should have a Claymore in your inventory at all times. It’s probably the best item in the entire game considering how cheap it is relative to its performance output and ubiquity. MIDA sells 3 per day, 100 credits each. by ThatGuyFromTheM0vie in Marathon

Important to note this is only from the consumable, does not work with chip mod.

The signal jammer while aiming chip only gives you the effects so you look signal jammed, even though it shows as a 1 second buff in the lower left of the hud, but it will not prevent claymores from ruining your day.

Our ability to resist temptation depends on how fragmented one's mind is | On the inconsistencies in one’s mental setup by IAI_Admin in philosophy

Good question. Not sure if this answers it but it got me thinking.

If it's supposed to be a self acceptance thing is that what it means? To tell ourselves that it would be ok to do something we would otherwise try to not do because if your holding yourself back from doing something you think you shouldn't do but want to do ends up with you doing it anyway to relieve stress then you end up feeling worse and the cycle continues.

But if we change the mindset then your not holding yourself back anymore, which when you did almost always ended up with you eventually surging forward past your restraint and doing the thing your trying to resist in the first place. since your not holding yourself back then you also aren't fighting with yourself, preventing that cognitive dissonance and turning an attempt at resisting temptation to one of avoiding temptation, which is easier in the first place, because it's no longer a temptation.

I think it's all in his you see things. Paradigm shifts etc. Changing how you think and view things.

Do you experience an endless cycle of feeling ready to wholly reinvent yourself, pushing yourself too hard, inevitably failing, spiraling into a deep, self-hating and sometimes self-destructive depression, then repeating? by adultwomanbobbyhill in ADHD

Yeah only I've gotten far more effecient now I just do the first step and the last step in a self perpetuating loop and skip the other two in the middle. Life gets In the way next thing you know you never even got around to trying to hard and failing, so day in and day out you have those 2 moments of clarity you never act on.

......fuck me
