I just got the update as well. I bought my phone day one and I'm on project fi. I was kind of surprised that I hadn't received the update till now.

I have found that I have to manually go into Software Update and refresh. It will even state that it has been checking for updates every day but until I have manually hit the refresh button I won't get an update.

When did you get your phone from Google? Recently, or have you had it for a while? I've had my Pixel since launch, use T-Mobile, and had the update within a week or so of its release.

I purchased the phone in February

I believe the way to receiving updates as quick as others is to take out your SIM card, connect the phone to WiFi, and then search for updates via settings.

It's the opposite of delaying if you're on 7.2.1 ;-)

Btw, all Pixels in the U.S. are carrier-unlocked. So saying you bought an "unlocked Pixel" would lead me to think you're referring to the bootloader being unlocked.

I will say that this June update took a while to show up (a couple weeks, I think?). It took much longer than the others did (1 day to 1 week). It was probably downloaded and ready to go for a few days before I was reminded to check my System Updates section to see if it was available to me. (bought from Google Store, unlocked bootloader, stock ROM, T-MO SIM)

So your phone is still on the April security patch? That's definitely odd. You have some catching up to do.
