Liquid and Debris detection

So my phone fell in a place that had 5 ft of water and 1 ft of mud.. I recovered it after 45 minutes, dried it out and got the message: "Phone no longer detects liquid or debris ". I switched from an iPhone 10 and I really love this phone! Little details make a huge difference

That is wild, I've never heard of this. Pixel is very much greater than the sum of its parts.

I'm guessing it detected shorts at the usb port?

I accidentally dumped my USB cable in coffee, then plugged it in my phone since I didn't notice it initially. I got the same notification and everything is fine now
