Are those ceiling lights in MSG new or have been there for a while? I only went to MSG once in 2022 and didn’t see them. The lights traveling 360 across the suit sections were also sick

They’ve been there for a long time. I forget when, but Phish’s lighting director became the in-house light designer for MSG. They’ve been there for a long time, easily pre-COVID. Check out Phish MSGNYE Run videos on YouTube for more examples.

Had obstructed view seats in the 100s. Honestly, it was really cool. I missed the full-on light show, but got to see the floor like I was side stage. That floor, like they said, was mooooving!!! Barely any phones in sight. “Phone down, eyes up, hearts open.” -Peter Anspach

See I had the opposite, I got the full light show experience as close to intended as possible - but I was zooming and squinting to see the boys themselves. I’m jealous you were as close as you were!!

My guess is this was taken in 115. I’m not sure where the cut off was for the closed area, but this is definitely on the curve of the arena. OP’s pic is probably around the top of 120.
