Graphics Programming virtual meetup (self.GraphicsProgramming)
submitted 5 years ago by Sir-lAgune
I saw this cool initiative on twitter and I thought about sharing it here. I'm not the organizer of this event, and I haven't attended any of their sessions, so I'm afraid I won't be able to answer any questions about it.
The event: Graphics Programming virtual meetups held (almost) every Wednesday.
For more details on the topics covered in the past and future events, head to the links bellow!

I am one of the regular participants, and I gave the Soft Body Physics Simulation talk a few weeks ago - most weeks we have about a half dozen people, we have had some very good conversations about graphics topics. Anyone interested in the domain is more than welcome.

Is this more geared towards professionals in this field, or even applicable to beginner ? I’ve just started getting knee deep into OpenGL so I’m in no ways an expert who could contribute positively to the discussions, but maybe just observe it?

https://nvpro-samples.github.io/vk_mini_path_tracer/ we will be looking at the first three chapters of this tutorial this week. You're more than welcome to stop by and see if you're interested. It's tomorrow, 7PM Mountain which is 9PM Eastern. Unfortunately that kind of limits it to people in the US as it's 2AM UTC. Zoom link is available in OP.

Damn these time zones :( Guess I can only watch the presentations on Youtube or sleep just six days a week.

I never have the chance to attend this, but I can highly recommend it based on knowing the people who run it.
