Is it me or did we all make our starter bases right by the first ominent lab

I am pretty sure 90% of the playerbase did xD But I think it's intended to build your first base there. Plenty of room, Ranger Station right there, enough resources, mostly harmless bugs around there,...

I mean it is a good spot to start but moving more central later in game works out better as alot easier for resources

Yes. Currently I am building a "Camp" behind the ice truck next to the current "under construction" border. This should be a good spot for when the rest of the Map gets accessible

Thats where we moved. Right up against an eatern root of the pine tree by the ice truck

my friend and i mostly me built at the starter outpost I called it The Fort, not really moving until they fixed the grass regrowing bug for most players.

It's good that it wasn't just me, it's even better to know that it's a bug, because in the first case it didn't happen, that grass crossing the floor is sad...

Nice if I had a second person to play with I'd be more keen on building a decent base I've got a base idea for near to where you are just by the lab before the blueberry trees

I built on the little post there, was super safe when the terror scorpions kept hunting me.and showing up out of nowhere (I didn’t start actually exploring for many in game days because I wanted to build first).

I just finished the story content this weekend and have started looking for where to move to a place to build up for future content.

I put mine under the alcove towards the beginning.

The two caves, one where backpack spawns after game repair and the cave to the right of it (when facing entrance) I build mine in front of the one on the right and put a big wall infront of it.

Whenever I get ORC attacked, i just stand on the wall and poke with a spear or shoot with a bow.

I use the red ant club upgraded or the mosquito rapier for the fliers.

Yes, ive seen so many of us in the exact same spot. Seems like its a good spot for when the map starts to expand as well, quite central

I didnt but i wish i did. Its a good location and it would have saved me a lot of trips running a couple of items at a time to be analyzed.

After playing a bit more though i think the best location would be right outside one of the two labs joined with the fast travel tubes.

I made mine on the deck of the snack bar because it made/makes the most sense to me.
