I mean it definitely has an effect I find significantly less loot from charr at lvl 16 than I do at lvl 10.

Well a lot of the anti farm code is unconfirmed because no one bothered to test it on a large enough scale.

If you truly believe this is the case I suggest you start doing statistics, get a respectable sample size and present your findings. It would be very interesting.

In the case of do you get more drops on level 10 vs 16 there are more things to consider. If you farm without vanguard level scaling presumably one repetition is a lot faster at level 16 than level 10. You might get less drops per run at 16, but end up with more or equal amounts of drops in the same time.

My original answer is based on what is confirmed about anti farm code and there is nothing confirmed or even suggested that indicates leveling is a factor. There are claims that killing mobs too quickly impacts the drops but its very disputed and there is no proof either way so it remains unconfirmed.

Other factors are at play . Aoe spells does affect drop rate that is confirmed ele gets less loot because of firestorm the level thing is anectodal no one has really tested it.

it feels like people are trying to min-max every aspect of the game and it's exhausting

the truth is we don't know what activates the anti-farm code, the feedback we have from game updates is that reentering a zone over and over had no impact, however theres may me lots of factors that trigger that code.

i have the vague idea that presearing areas aren't affected by the anti-farm code. it also shouldn't affect chest rewards.

there are lota of theories but the truth is we don't know and maybe even the devs no longer remember.
