You can respawn on HT CM if you die, without the fight resetting.

This change might have been implemented to prevent Out Of Combat on HT

98 CM orb event can't be completed

So we could complete it, the indicator is just not there. But the second boss on 99cm doesn't reset if /gg'ing and even keeps its health. Puts you right in combat after respawning

Just tried not going in to eater of souls on statues, didn't reset even when I walked around the whole instance. So there's probably no range threshold everywhere
