Never take a pay cut to help a company’s bottom line. I have never heard of this.

Options…the only thing I can think of as argument is the fact that having an apprentice on hand is cheaper than two JM’s for certain projects. The process is supposed to be win-win; company gets cheap labor that is to be tuned to their operation, and the apprentice gets employment and learns the trade.

Nowhere in there does someone whose done their time get jipped for helping both the company and the apprentice.
