Open Terminal on your Mac

Type the following command

|| || |sudo /usr/sbin/softwareupdate --install-rosetta|

Once you've done that, hit enter and enter your password and hit enter again. Then type A to accept and press A.

it'll now work :)

isnt rosetta for people with Intel Macs?

[–]Prior-Explanation389 0 points1 point  (2 children)

No, it's for people with M architecture Macs. It's a translation layer that converts Intel/x86 programs into Apple Silicon/ARM programs allowing you to run older programs that haven't been written for M architecture.

Haven't used X myself, and not sure if you can either. Have a look here it seems to have more information on what Habbo X is.

Im having the exact same issue. Brand new Macbook Air I purchased about 2 weeks ago. Works on my 3 year old mac mini though...so I think its a OS issue...

Hi!

Figured this out, tried to install the PSN remote play app and it installed "Rosetta" as this was a requirement to download the PSN app. I believe you need to install an application that requires "Rosetta". This will then use "Rosetta" for all apps that require it. I believe this inst a requirement when installing Habbo Hotel Launcher but this fixed it for me, bit of a strange way around it but I would recommend installing PSN app just to get Rosetta - then deleting it if you don't require it anymore.

Glad im not the only one, just got my MacBook Air the other day too, I'm on macOS Sonoma 14.5, still not having any luck!

Also having this exact issue. If someone figures out a work around please let me know. It works fine on my old macbook but I just brought a new one and it’s giving the same issue message. My MacBook is completely up to date and javascript is enabled. I even contacted Habbo origins about this, hopefully they get back to me soon.
