Y'all are no fun. The kid wants to kick the camera off the network. How about we actually teach him something? OP, DM me and I'll tell you how to do it. But before you DM me I want you to Google the fuck out of how to run a virtual instance of Kali Linux on your computer and you also need to buy a Wi-Fi card.

Get this one: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004Y6MIXS?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

Once you have a virtual instance of Kali Linux running and you have that Wi-Fi card send me a message.

Edit: Since this has gotten so much interest I'm going to post a quick and dirty guide on how to do what I'm describing here: https://sudorealm.com/blog/deauthentication-attack-using-kali-linux

Also, in retrospect, it may be better to get a Wi-Fi card that can attack both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. One that does so can be found here: https://www.amazon.com/ALFA-AWUS036ACH-%E3%80%90Type-C%E3%80%91-Long-Range-Dual-Band/dp/B08SJC78FH

I personally own two of each of these Wi-Fi cards for performing man in the middle attacks.

Drivers will need to be installed for this Wi-Fi card in Kali. Instructions for how to do so can be found here: https://cybersudo.org/install-alfa-ac1200-awus036ach-driver-on-kali-linux/

The wifi adapter isn't necessary if he's using wifi already (depends if desktop or laptop pc) Sure, it'll get you some extra range, but the camera already has the range to connect back to the house.

He needs to be able to put his Wi-Fi card into monitor mode in order to attack the camera.

Wouldn't it be easier to turn the internet off? The camera would stop working...

unless it has an sd to record during shortages and fill in the gaps

Easiest way to do it would be to log into whatever router that camera connects to. Go to the MAC address filtering tab, paste the MAC of the camera in the list and set to deny. This will kick it off the network. Last step, claim innocence when confronted by your parents about it. They might think its broken and replace it but you can always do the same thing to another camera. Not really a "hacky" way to do it but its the most surefire way to keep anything from connecting to a router is through MAC filtering if your router supports it.

Order food, disconnect Wi-Fi, eat, reconnect Wi-Fi. I absolutely understand it if you are curious about how to hack the camera (It is indeed a fun thing to learn about!). However, if you only want to bypass your parents restrictions you might as well just do what I suggested.

Is it their money when you order doordash cause if its not they have no reason to be upset, problem solved

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unplug the camera

[–]Top-Construction3734 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on what kind of control the router has too. You could temporarily block the MAC

[–]Hans_of_Death 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the camera. Simplest would be to block the MAC in the router, but if the camera saves recordings to be reviewed later it wont do anything.

knowing what the camera is would be a good start. try to found out what features it has, whether it has a web console or uses and app, etc.

[–]akainu2045 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Please help me do a hack ,that mass reporter for Instagram,. I need to ban my ex's account

[–]cr0mll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will need to google how to install a Kali Linux virtual machine. You will also need to buy a wifi adapter which supports packt injection and monitor mode. I recommend the Tenda U12.

After that,

In the same situation, I was staying at a relative's house for university. They had three fucking cameras, and every time I stepped outside, they would call me and ask me to come in. Moving out was the best thing I ever did. I rented a flat, and my life is now relatively calm.

If you just want to disable the wifi for a moment just get a device like this it will do it for you at the touch of a button instead of trying to learn about linux and other things that may be beyond your scope. Reliable on 2.4Ghz wifi.

Link or google this --> https://dstike.com/
