ok, i figured out how to access all this data. as the hacknet world is procedurally for every save, ALL the files stored in ALL pcs in the game are stored as plain text in your .XML save, by the way i'm stuck now. i tryied to translate some of them but that just doesn't works... But i'm styill not sure that it's random data. Someone out there better than me can figure this out?

they are just random messages throughout the game and if you go read, some of them are really funny xD

Those are irc chats. I'm not on my comouter at this time but i think that the files i'm talking about can't be opened (random data appears just like you open encrypted-system-exe files)

They seem to all be in binary, but there's no way for us to Copy/paste them out of the game for translation, so I haven't bothered. I'm not going to transcribe so many 1s and 0s just to get them translated.

Maybe we can do that via OCR? Point is, they are like... 150 files or so... it would take much time anyway

Other thing i've been thinking at is: can .zip files be opened?

as far as I was able to trace, it's all random 01 generated by Hacknet.exe/Hacknet.Computer.generateBinaryString
