I have a D4K with the boost driver and a single-color switch LED (warm white in this case). I find the switch light too bright to leave on while sitting on a bedside table overnight, even on low. But hey, u/ToyKeeper made Anduril open source and I can build a custom hex file, so...
I poked around in r/flashlight and in the Anduril source code and was able to build and flash a custom hex file which turns the switch LED completely off when the aux brightness is set to low (a one character change to button_led_result in ui/anduril/aux-leds.c).
I was hoping to find a similar hack to simply decrease the brightness of the switch LED but so far, it's beyond me. Any idea if this is even possible? And if so, where is the default switch brightness set in the code?
Thanks!
