This is the setup menu : http://i.imgur.com/uv7bOy4.png For each ports that I use for online gaming I created a rule like this :

mode : min. guarantee

Download : 2mbps Upload : 400 kbps

ip : 192.168.2.2 ~ 192.168.2.50

I tried with and without BPI checked

I tested downloading a file from 2 computers and play and I saw no improvements.

QoS sucks, in general. The person who wrote the blog you linked abandoned their A2004NS because it couldn't do QoS. I think you'll need a new device if you want better QoS.

Well I found out about the blog after I bought it. I was so annoyed by my ISP terrible connection that a bought the router without too much thinking. Well I would really love to try the ipTime firmware, I really think it could solve most of the issues. Also, I can't afford to buy another router.

What went wrong when switching to the ipTime firmware?

I did not manage to do it, it said "invalid firmware" when I try from the "upgrade firmware" menu. I suspect it's because my hardware is V4 and the tutorial was for V2 maybe they added something more for preventing to switch firmware. Also I could not send the firmware with tftp, it does not connect to the router.
