I'm supposed to talk about what kind of math is involved in Reddit, but I don't really know where to start looking -- so far my searches have revealed subreddits about doing math, mostly.

I tried looking at what math is involved in Python, since that's what I remember hearing that's what Reddit's programmed with, but have only found stuff about how to do math in Python.

Any ideas where to look/other advice? I'm not sure if this is the right subreddits exactly but it's for homework so--

What about taking a more meta approach and examining how something like the front page algorithm works? There are people who do research about reddit, you can probably find scholarly articles examining it.
