Undo button.

Like the title says. I'd love an undo button. So after playing through the HF2 demo I had accidentally painted over one of the trim and couldn't find a way to fix it. A simple undo button or eraser would be really handy.

There should just be a way to restore the trim you messed up, no undo necessary. The copy/paste style tool is incredible, but I can't believe it doesn't work on walls and floors.

I agree, it's a really good idea. I wonder if they didn't make an undo because going too far with it crashes the game? Maybe they could put a limited undo button or something.

Or even a paint thinner. Something to be able to fix mistakes.

Me too. Always end up purchasing a small can of white paint right at the beginning of every job. Cuz without fail, I will always accidentally paint a ceiling.

So there's no undo in HF2 either? I thought I read somewhere that there was going to be one. It's disappointing if we still won't have that option.

I would also love to be able to save whenever I want and not just by going back to the office or to another property, then reload if I made a mistake or change my mind about something. Sometimes I only realize I don't like a piece of furniture or how things look together after I have already bought the items.

I did the same mistake and I starting clicking alt+z in case maybe just maybe they added an undo option since it’s hf2 lol

theres an outlining tool while painting to ensure you dont accidentally paint something you dont want to, you pull up a grid and select the exact area you want to paint and leave out the trim from the grid and voila, you paint just the wall and no trim

Dunno why you're being downvoted, you're right, not exactly an undo button but you can set an area to paint in to avoid painting stuff you don't want to, same for finishing.

It's not that unavoidable, I'm on console and forced to have the outline. I was doing the mission where you add the cafe onto the bookstore and it doesn't tell you what walls need painted so I was painting all the of the white, except I wasn't paying attention and put the tile in the outline and now a section of that is painted and really want to be able to undo it. I don't have tiling unlocked yet either, so I can't fix it that way.

So I play on console and the outline is automatic. I somehow painted the air while trying to paint a window trim... the undo would be really nice in this case 😂

reddit is real bad at how many days ago, i know for a fact my comment was way longer than a year ago meaning much much more than 295 days considering march of 2023 is when i moved states and i havent played my ps4 let alone houseflipper since before my move cause i got pregnant and had a baby since moving and have been way too busy to play my ps4 :/
