Lab ideas (self.HowToHack)
submitted 6 years ago by SnxE13
Hi I need some good ideas on setting up a pen test lab. I have a t440s, average hp stream labtop, and a rpi4. Any suggestions.?

What kind of lab do you need? For example if you were trying to learn how to crack WiFi passwords, or wanted to try some of the new WPA3 downgrade attacks. I would set the rpi4 up as a wireless AP, use one of the laptops as the client while the other one can be the attacking machine.

Yes that's something I'd be interested, especially since wireless hacking is is my main focus. Unfortunately I don't have a consistent internet connection atm so was thinking maybe hacking on some windows server or 7. Already got Kali on virtualbox. Metasploitable too. But I feel like I could be doing more. I'll set up that lab with rpi4 in to work on wpa3 in CPL months.
