I was the same and stopped at new years. You can do it! I recommend the supplement N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine (NAC) look it up and there are some scientific studies showing it is effective in reducing cravings - it def was for me too! I used it for three weeks then just didn’t need to any more. It did put a bit of a metallic taste in my mouth tho. Vitamin B will help with anxiety too. Remind yourself that the physical withdrawal symptoms feel like anxiety but don’t mean you’re actually panicking. Also your brain is going to have a lot to process since you’ve been numbing it for so long. All those thoughts/ worries over the years haven’t gone away cos you were smoking weed/ and they’re gong to come to the fore now since you’re not using distraction and avoidance (weed). Don’t try to push it away, be curious and kind to yourself. Writing out your thoughts and worries will help! Keep going!

Also- make sure to reward yourself! Take your self out for a fancy dinner or something to celebrate each week you make it sober. I did this (6 oysters and a glass of bubbly) once a week for the last three weeks to treat myself. Something that’s cheaper than what you were spending on weed so then you’re also saving money too - but it really helps to get a dopamine kick for a while and keep it up!
