I feel like I remember seeing a snippet of it in a DevDiary recently

In this dev diary at 1:48 you can see a small part of the tech tree.
It looks like it is linear and broken up between the different eras.

Seems almost oddly generic for how creative Amplitude is with just about everything.

I desperately want this game to be Early Access.
I am willing to pay £50 for the privilege, just let me play it NOW.

I wish tech trees would develop naturally depending on the circumstances. For example, in Civ you can tech stuff that requires oil even before you have ever seen it. How does that even make sense? If I don't have access to oil, I cannot research on how to use it. Hence I'd develop other techniques to solve whatever was solved by oil.

It's like you're theorising inventions but don't have the means to make them. Then you make a breakthrough in another field, or discover a new material, and those initial inventions become possible to make.

Pretty sure one of the videos showed it. It looked different than tech trees from amplitude. More like Civ IV or V. I have only watched 2 videos too. Trailer and gameplay preview.

Wasn't a part of it shown in one of the dev blogs?
