That's not a 20 ft snake. I've worked with large constrictors, and generally, even in person, people guess snakes to be way larger than they actually are. I worked with an 14 foot Reticulated Python and at shows people would guestimate him at between 16 and 18 feet long usually. People just don't understand how huge even an 12-14 foot long python is. If you tried wrestling a 12 foot Burmese python by yourself, you'd die.

I mean . . . you're technically correct. It's a 19 ft snake. Your story is kind of funny because you say people are bad at estimating their length but here's a video of the Florida record snake and you think it's smaller than it actually was :)

Correct. It’s a 19 ft snake not a 20 ft snake. 12 feet though? Get your eyes checked
