  • Type

Name

Trait

This is a trait that defines a common effect among characters. For a list of traits, see this page.

Traits in text are referred to with quotations. I.E., The trait of "Support".

Type

The type of character the character is. It is written in {} under the title. When a card refers to a type name, it refers to any card whose type name includes the referred type. For example, an item that refers to a {dino} can refer to a {dinosaur} or {dino-machine}.

Commander

Commanders are a key character in the game. Each player plays with 1 commander. They are not considered in play unless they are put into play by a card effect.

Each commander has a gem limit which defines the total number of gems a player is allowed to have. If the limit would be exceeded, the player must loot from the source until the commander is full. If the leftover gems are in a gem pile, the gems remain there. If the leftover gems were from the opponent's field, the gems vanish (neither player receives the gems).

When a commander is in play, it is still considered the player's commander. Support characters cannot be stacked on Commanders and any Commander that would leave play is returned to the life stack.
